Review on 💾 Inateck 2.5 to 3.5 SSD Mounting Bracket with SATA Cable and Power Splitter Cable - ST1002S by Claudia Green

I bought this set thinking to save a few bucks but it was a waste of money. First, the included SATA cables are advertised as SATA III or 6Gb/s, but they are actually only SATA 1 or 1.5Gb/s. I verified this by first comparing my SSD with these cables and then with another set I got from another source. With another cable, the speed jumped three times. :(Second, the screw holes in the case that attach it to the case have a different thread than the standard HDD/case screws. You can see this in the attached photo. The two screws on the top are included in the kit and the one on the bottom is the Type you will find in most cases if you need to mount your cart to a stand or tray that requires your own screws or stand this may not work otherwise you can probably just use the screws provided but it does anyway, it's substandard and won't snag on your case or bay.In any case, you'll want to steer clear of mis-advertised cables and look for other SATA III connectors.
