These sandals are very cute! They are some kind of plastic. They are all made in one piece, I mean with other sandals they are usually made up of parts, for example there is an upper that is put on top of the foot and then the sole. Not all sandals are 1-piece. I really like them, they are exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted something I could easily slide on my feet. I didn't want to spend a lot on them because I would be using them in camp where they would be thrown in the landfill. I chose black. Now I usually wear a women's size 8 or 8.5 but I followed the size chart and measured my foot and the child's 4-5 fits my foot like a glove. My girlfriend ordered them for her kids for the summer and I loved them so much I had to order a pair for myself. I have worn them several times and they are amazing.
