Review on πŸ’‘ Sylvania 20724 18W 3000K Compact Fluorescent 4 Pin Double Tube by Allison Smith

Good replacement for Panasonic Fan Lamp

Excellent replacement for two 18w 4-pin lamps in a 2010 Panasonic Whisper Green Lite bathroom fan with built-in light. These 4-pin bulbs are approximately 3/4 inch longer than Panasonic FDS18E35/4 bulbs. Just swapped, time will tell. Panasonic lamps have lasted around 3 years with normal use in the bathroom. It is worth noting that Revain collects all the reviews for this type of Sylvania lamp on one page, and there are many variations in wattage and light color. Check out the fine print at the top of the review. Make sure the lamp you need has the same 4-pin or 2-pin connector. This 18W 4-pin light bulb has 4 different light colors which refer to the temperature of the light in Kelvin. Lower Kelvin lamps, such as B. 2700 K, have a "warm" yellowish-white light and are the most common light color for household screw-in lamps, whether incandescent, LED or compact fluorescent lamps. There are also 3000K, 3500K and 4100K options, with 4100K being the more formal, 'cool' bluish-white light. Higher Kelvin light colors are actually closer to sunlight, but in North America we are more used to warm 2700K artificial light in the home. The original Panasonic bulb was 3500K and I chose 3000K which looks good - no yellow or blue. This lamp also has a CRI of 82, which means light quality - "color rendering index". This is good for a fluorescent lamp. The designation "830" for this lamp includes both CRI (1st digit) and light color (2nd and 3rd digits). So this lamp is a 20724-830 - 20724 type lamp, color rendering index 80'ish and light color 3000K.
