💡 Sylvania 20724 18W 3000K Compact Fluorescent 4 Pin Double Tube Review

What can I say, this fluorescent lamp is too expensive for use in old engineering fittings. Surprisingly, my $150 Panasonic ceiling fan combo uses this type. Revain has decent prices for these bulbs, as does Home Depot but a different brand. Let's see how long they last, I don't expect more than nine months which would be nice for these bulbs.

I wanted to reduce the wattage of our overhead lights/fans: dual 18w fluorescent tubes in a 4ft x 4ft room are too bright. So I got those Bought 13W version. It turns out they have a key, so you can't do that: if it's made for an 18-watt bulb, you'll have to replace it with an 18-watt bulb. But it's not Sylvania's fault, it's my ignorance. I just want to warn you. Once I order the right power, it works great. Beautiful color and brightness.

Excellent replacement for two 18w 4-pin lamps in a 2010 Panasonic Whisper Green Lite bathroom fan with built-in light. These 4-pin bulbs are approximately 3/4 inch longer than Panasonic FDS18E35/4 bulbs. Just swapped, time will tell. Panasonic lamps have lasted around 3 years with normal use in the bathroom.
