This stand is very stable. I haven't used it long enough to comment on its durability, but I suspect it's due to the good workmanship of the stand. The only thing that would give this item 5+ stars would be if the manufacturer designed an attached flip and/or removable protective cover for the iPad. Adding this one feature will quadruple their revenue growth and make them millionaires in less than a year.
