How can a camcorder not have a viewfinder? Terrible design flaw. I just bought this to replace my broken camcorder. I was so excited to film my son's soccer game that I mounted the camcorder on a tripod and was so excited to use it for the first time. When I couldn't see the screen at all. It had an awful sheen on it. I thought that only the brightness needed to be adjusted, but it's not. I had other family members to see if they could see and they thought it must be broken because all I could see was my reflection and a bright light that I could hardly find on the soccer field. It was partly cloudy that day and I couldn't see anything. If you plan on using this outdoors be careful, there's no viewfinder and the screen is horribly glaring, not recommended.
