I bought this cable to connect a 2019 iPad Pro to a 2015 Macbook Pro. I replaced a previous cable that no longer worked, so I know it must be the correct cable to connect to. However, every time I plug in the Revain Basics cable everything USB related goes nuts and shuts down! I've tried plugging it directly into my MBP, into all the USB ports on my monitor, and into an external USB hub. the same result for every device. All USB will stop working once this cable is plugged in. It seems very dangerous, be careful. At first I thought my monitor and attached USB drives were burned out!
