I'm in South Dakota and it was -27C today. I was wearing just jeans and a regular shirt, hat and gloves. I felt fine and caught a cold easily. I ordered a large one. I'm 5'6 and a size 10 with full bust. I have room for one shift. Fits perfectly. Lightning is strong. The hood is good, not great. An extra hood would have helped in strong winds, but the hat did the job. The pockets are not deep but lined, which I really like. The neck area is well lined and windproof; no scarf needed. The only thing I would change is deeper pockets and 1-2 inside pockets for keys, cellphone, lipstick, gloves. It was worth the purchase, I've tried MANY coats.
