If you own a Jeep Wrangler, you know your windshield is constantly chipping and cracking. I live in Arizona and have my windshield replaced three times a year for rock chips and chips. These jeeps are brick shaped and even a cow is more aerodynamic. The flat, vertical windshield makes the rock hit hard against it. Afraid that too many claims would increase the cost of my insurance, I sought help. I found places to stick the film on the windshield, but the price was high (about $300-400). I saw this and decided to give it a try. Goes ahead fairly easily and a 17.7 x 10 foot roll will do twice. After 8 months and many stone chips I have no new chips or cracks. This material protected my windshield well. Now I have to replace it with a new one because over time it gets scratched by the wipers. Easy to remove with a razor blade, clean windows and reinstall.
