Review on Extender Keyboard Ethernet Network Latency by Jaya Walsh

Does what it's supposed to do

I have a Linux KVM server (it looks like VMware) in the basement running two virtual guests with Windows 10. Each of my daughters has a keyboard and mouse in the second floor bedrooms and monitor. I used 2 of these sets so each child could access their dedicated virtual environment without the heat/noise/clunkiness of a real machine in their room. They connect directly to a PC (each child has a dedicated USB bus and discrete graphics card), USB and HDMI ports dedicated to each child. Ethernet was connected to my 10GB distribution switch, which is connected to the 2nd floor switch via a 20GB connection. From there, cat6a run delivers it to each of their rooms and to their recipient. You could play at full 1080p at 60Hz with no noticeable lag. The only thing I would like is that there is one of these that supports dual monitors. You're used to having 2 screens each, but aside from using a USB->HDMI adapter (there are only 3 USB ports on this thing) there's no other way to set up dual monitors. However, a quick test with a USB-to-HDMI adapter worked fine, even at 1080p @ 60Hz.
