Device KVM Computer and accessories

I bought this mainly because this product is one of the few that supports KVM over IP. I use a Cisco managed switch in the stack and also a POE switch to connect to my monitors. Overall this is a very good product that delivers a good picture over HDMI. Note, however, that the sender/sender is constantly "pinging” the connection, which means that a large number of packets are being sent (broadcast) over the network, and the receiver always receives the packet. In this case, about 10-50 MBit/s…

does the job. on KVM switches

I needed a device that could transmit the image of my security DVR camera, which is located at one end of the house, to the other end. I didn't want to use the DVR's web browser or run long HDMI and USB cables at home. This device fixed this problem by passing my HDMI and USB signal over LAN. Don't make the original mistake I made of running the unit through a router as this introduces lag and degrades the HDMI signal. It even works well when I transmit between 2 Gigabit network switches on my…

Ideal solution for keyboard, mouse and monitor expansion.

I have a media server in my rack that is making a lot of noise from the fans. It doesn't have to be the most comfortable workspace, but with this extension cord and CAT 5 cable, I can comfortably sit in another room and work on the computer.

I am impressed! on KVM switches

I don't use a webcam so I'm not sure how well it works. I will say that I don't notice any lag between the mouse, keyboard, monitor or headset. My only complaint is that the cable needed to connect my PC to the transmitter was not included and the video was broken. With the last one, I can't say for sure whether it's the device or my setup. Later I will draw a direct CAT6a line between the desktop and the office. It is currently connected to a router that connects to a 16 port switch (only a…

Does what it's supposed to do

I have a Linux KVM server (it looks like VMware) in the basement running two virtual guests with Windows 10. Each of my daughters has a keyboard and mouse in the second floor bedrooms and monitor. I used 2 of these sets so each child could access their dedicated virtual environment without the heat/noise/clunkiness of a real machine in their room. They connect directly to a PC (each child has a dedicated USB bus and discrete graphics card), USB and HDMI ports dedicated to each child. Ethernet…

My Experience - Computers & Accessories

I connected a transmitter to my LAN switch, connected to my Poweline internet source, same setup on receiver. But there is no signal. After reading the specs I figured it could transmit over IP. But when I plug it in, it actually messes up all my connections. I hope you have another solution? I only need 1080p. please by ip Came very quickly, good quality product.
