I bought this mainly because this product is one of the few that supports KVM over IP. I use a Cisco managed switch in the stack and also a POE switch to connect to my monitors. Overall this is a very good product that delivers a good picture over HDMI. Note, however, that the sender/sender is constantly "pinging” the connection, which means that a large number of packets are being sent (broadcast) over the network, and the receiver always receives the packet. In this case, about 10-50 MBit/s are lost due to the constant "ping" of the connection. I don't think it will be a problem for family use, for small business use, it's better to install a smart socket and turn it off when you don't need it. I have 10 gigabit switches and I was losing about 50Mbps when turning them on. Also, the receiver doesn't support DP 1.2 for daisy chaining, so be aware that you only have 1 monitor when using this KVM!
