I take large 1 gallon Lipton tea bags, place them in a basket and pour boiling water over them. I love unusually strong tea, so after an hour I pour it over ice and it's ready. I see people complaining about careless pouring, try opening the lid so the slot in it lines up with the spout. Do this and you won't have a problem, it's not rocket science but I know people who can't check the oil in their cars either. I drink iced tea all day so this kettle works well, it comes apart for easy cleaning just unscrew the lid. Excellent goods!
