Review on Helect Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer -58°F to 1022°F (-50°C to 550°C), Digital Laser Temperature Gun with LCD Display (NOT for Human) by James Ortega

I bought it to measure the flow of water from the tap when changing the water in the aquarium, as I got tired of holding thermometers under running water and responding slowly. The temperature must be at least close to the temperature of the tank so as not to shock the occupants. This unit arrived quickly, very well assembled and works great. I've found that I need to give it some time to calibrate before releasing the trigger to get more accurate temperature readings, but that's fine. Hope this lasts a while. It was cheap enough and if it lasts a few months then I'll be happy. My only concern is that it came in a box which got thrown around during shipping as Revain didn't put any packaging material in the box.
