These mounts are great. I'm happy with the clean look I have now because I no longer have cables dangling from my wall mounted TVs. I didn't try the adhesive mount and attached it to the wall right away. It only takes a minute to drill a hole, insert a wall anchor and attach the bracket with screws. Secure and works as expected. I wasn't sure if I would use silicone remote covers, but they're actually pretty good. I think I prefer the closed remote as it feels better in the hand. You can't go wrong with this mount and the price is right.
