I currently have three of them with black painted heads. They are great initially, but once the paint wears off after cleaning, the "stuff" starts to stick. This has been going on for several months. I was always thinking of making it a great/ideal/durable/high end cat tool by chrome plating the head. All the chrome I've tried tends to fail. However, their wide opening allows many "things” to escape. So I saw this new device that looks like stainless steel or matte chrome and was excited and bought it. THIS IS NOT CHROME. LOOKS LIKE SILVER COLOR AND ACTUALLY COLLECTS MORE "MATERIALS" THAN THE OLD MODEL. AND IT'S STILL NEW! PLEASE MAKE IT IN CHROME AND I WILL BUY SHARES IN THE COMPANY! Please. It's so well designed, you can now make the perfect cat scoop out of it! The shovel has no non-stick coating! Or worn out after a few weeks, it sticks!
