This is the best invention if, like me, you hate the look of ceiling fans but don't want to give up a fan. It was pretty easy to install and actually worked with our previous fan's ceiling mount, which saved us quite a bit of time. It was quite difficult to squeeze the remote relay box into the ceiling mount and cover it with a lid. There is a slight delay when you use the wall switch to turn the light on and off due to the remote relay I believe, but it's only about 1 second and you can get used to it. Or you can always use the remote control.
