That's great! Stay away from velcro.
Beware of fakes and velcro rolls. Velcro, especially those with small hooks, will tangle and pull your hair out. I had a hard time finding this type and I accidentally tried the velcro type, only once. I had a hard time securing my hair with velcro. They are amazing. I've had these curlers for 17 years now and use them on short and shoulder length hair. I have never seen hair build up in these curlers. The rollers don't wear out either. I've found I have to put hair clips in the back where my hair is shorter, but otherwise they stay in place.
