UPDATE 2/2020: Night vision function has recently broken. Everything took 5-6 months. Contacted the manufacturer several times, no response. This lasts for a second when you enter the camera app, then turns off and goes dark. Very disappointing. I've been waiting for it to go on sale during Prime Days, I don't think it's worth full price as it breaks so easily. I did my research and read tons of reviews and this camera was one of two I would buy. Night vision is no different than any indoor camera. It's dark in the front and lighter in the background like a window (no lamp) and the picture won't be as good. If this is your problem, keeping a small lamp, even a night light, on without making the area too bright can solve the problem. Until the function breaks. The treat chamber is large and holds many treats. If the treat is the size of a pellet, multiple pieces will come out. However, the pet will not mind. The suction cups save the camera otherwise my dog would have gotten to the treats long ago. He takes photos, shoots videos, hands out treats, the camera works outside the home, the two-way mic still works.
