It was 5 stars but just today I used it and suddenly the sound is not transmitted. The picture is perfect. Tested HDMI from satellite direct to TV in my playroom and immediately got sound on that TV. So I'm not sure what could have happened and of course my return window only ended 2 days ago. I've only had the product for about 5.5 weeks, plus or minus a few days. In principle, it is of no use if no sound is transmitted. Very disappointed as it worked as expected, the last time I used it was about 2 weeks ago. As I said was a 5 star item when it worked. Only have a 50ft CAT6 cable between the receiver and transmitter so this shouldn't be a problem, especially since it worked. UPDATE (July 12, 2017): So I found an issue unrelated to the device. After everything worked, I set my HDMI inputs on the TV to Ultra HD Deep Color and no longer used satellite. I switched from satellite to my PS3 and got sound straight away. I was confused at this point as I had satellite sound for the games room TV but not the master bedroom TV. Driven me crazy but found the difference that Ultra HD Deep Color didn't include the HDMI input in the playroom. Changed that setting and again the sound from the satellite went through this unit and from the TV in my bedroom. So, as I said in my original review, the device deserves 5 stars and that's exactly what I'm giving.
