I ordered this unit because I needed to extend my HDMI signal by about 90 feet. I connected a new CAT 6 ethernet cable from my dish network receiver to the remote TV. The device worked fine for the video signal but there was no audio signal. I've corresponded with the seller and tried various options to see if I can get it to work. This pair replaces an expensive Atlona 4K HDBaseT kit that failed in less than 2 years. Hope they last longer. PQ (picture quality) for 1080P is the same as the Atlona boxes. No glitter or timing issues. Note that prior to Atlona's HDBaseT devices, I've had non-HDBaseT Atlona devices that had trouble running 3D with good PQ - they were jumpy and shut down prematurely despite using a network filter. It was 5 stars but just today I used it and suddenly the sound is not transmitted. The picture is perfect. Tested HDMI from satellite direct to TV in my playroom and immediately got sound on that TV.
