Works well and is reliable

This pair replaces an expensive Atlona 4K HDBaseT kit that failed in less than 2 years. Hope they last longer. PQ (picture quality) for 1080P is the same as the Atlona boxes. No glitter or timing issues. Note that prior to Atlona's HDBaseT devices, I've had non-HDBaseT Atlona devices that had trouble running 3D with good PQ - they were jumpy and shut down prematurely despite using a network filter. HDBaseT fixes PQ so I'm just looking for something reliable now. I also prefer the power scheme: AV Access allows you to power both devices by only powering one device/side (it sends power through the cable to the other side. As others have noted, the receiver unit gets very hot Here are the thermal pics after being left at room temperature for 8 hours is 80 degrees F. Hopefully this heat doesn't affect durability but if it does I will update this review.Update May 2020 - So far totally reliable They work 24/7 and I've never really thought about them because they work and keep working.
