A bit pricey but works well with great features

Very happy with the product so far. Excellent performance. One star deducted for the following reasons: A) The supplied IR transmitter is weak and must be placed very close to the receiver. B) The product is a bit expensive for short runs up to 15m where I might try using a long HDMI cable. C) Slightly slow sync when changing video resolution. The features are excellent though, and it's nice to have options with just a Cat6 or better ethernet cable. Supports Cat5e for shorter runs. The base unit supplies power to the remote unit. Only tested HDMI up to 1080p at around 15M but works well with a sharp image and isn't prone to glitches like the previous solution I used. IR radiation works, although the included emitter is anemic. Technically supports IR in both directions, but you will need another IR receiver and an IR emitter as only one IR port is included (both devices have 2 IR ports - one IR in, one IR out) . Nicely packaged. Small, compact devices, little more than a deck of cards, a decent manual, RS-232 support, useful status LEDs and more.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • So so
