Review on 🍲 Optimized TOAKS LIGHT Titanium 650ml Pot by Jerome Turner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just buy it! fits camping cookware

This is my cooking system for long and short trips. I have a 110g can of fuel, a BRS stove, a mini lighter, a 12" x 12" lightweight towel and a 1" scraper that I press against this pan. A volume of 550 ml is not suitable because the lid does not close. This entire system weighs less than 5 ounces! It doesn't stain too much, and you can heat a cup of water for coffee and drink from it almost instantly without burning your lips. It's very easy to clean, has markings on cups and ml to be pressed in. You can read them on both sides. The lid is fine. You have to turn the pot almost 90 degrees to make it fall down. The triangular lid works well and stays relatively cool even when the gas is turned off after cooking. The triangle stands still during heating without moving, which is a big plus. When using a BRS 3000t it cooks faster (1 cup in just over 2 minutes) and for some reason your hands stay cooler. In fact, I can make a cup of tea, and after turning off the stove, I can hold the cup by the handles without burning my fingers (with the handles pointing downwind so your handles are cooler). I have fat fingers and the grips are still easy to manipulate. They fit very well and are also removable. They don't ring when you're backpacking on a hike. The pot storage bag is heavy, that's the only downside. I ordered a small DCF bag from LightAF to store the pot/cup in

Cons
  • Good, but not great
