This radiator is perfect for my base 2001 Saturn SL with Automatic Transmission. install and it works within 3 days to my complete satisfaction. The two brass fittings that connect to the transmission line holes weren't needed for my application, so I just unscrewed and threw them away and directly connected the transmission cooling lines, which fit perfectly. A few tips that made the job easy: 1. The night before, while the car was still hot, I liberally sprayed the transmission cooling line connections on the radiator (especially the lower one) with liquid penetrant. This loosened some of the corrosion, which helped loosen the lines that came loose with relatively little effort and kept them from breaking.2. A 1/2" box end wrench was used to disconnect the coolant lines. I wrapped teflon tape (strips about 2-3 inches long) around the threads of the coolant line to ease tightening and ensure a more secure seal. Overall I am completely satisfied and rate this item a 5 for performance and value.
