I was just looking for a cat litter scoop without wide slots. I often had so much debris when harvesting. There aren't many shovels that don't have wider slots. I've come across a few reptile terrariums that have smaller round holes on the bucket rather than wider slots. But some of them seemed too small for what I was looking for. I've been buying Arm and Hammer™️Clump and Seal®️ Kitty for a long time. So there's quite a bit of junk that doesn't require a dustpan with tiny holes in it. It's also easily removed with any type of shovel. But for the smaller pieces of dirty clumps, I needed something to sift through the debris and keep the small pieces in the shovel. This product does exactly that. Oh I understand this won't work for all types of cat litter but for the type I use it's perfect as it does everything I need without having to go back and try to remove smaller pieces. Mastic may seem a little more fragile than standard kitty litter scoops, but they are quite strong and hold up well to even weighted scoops of dirty litter. It also has a square that allows you to easily get into the corner of the litter box. This makes cleaning the litter box a pleasure. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a scoop that does the trick for clumpy litter but can also contain parts that would otherwise fall through slotted scoops.
