I love these knee pads, I bought them to learn snowboarding and skiing in winter. They offer really good protection both in front and on the side for a few inches above and below the knee. I've only used them once for mountain biking so far, but so far they're working well. My main complaint is the ventilation. I wear them next to my skin and get a lot of sweat which can cause uncomfortable irritation under the straps. Overall, I really enjoy using this product and would recommend it. They are worth the money for the protection they offer.
