Revainrating 2 out of 5

Rain WILL pour in, and has nowhere to go.also, lock & keys could be better (UPDATED)

UPDATED 6/18/22I've had to come back to update this. I found another pretty major flaw.rain. This box is set up so that the slot to put mail in doesn't have a lot of protection. When it rains, rain can easily pour right in.and that's a huge problem. The rain has nowhere to go. So, if you haven't gotten your mail by the time it rains.expect it to be essentially destroyed.ORIGINAL:The box is pretty solid. Our weather since setting this up has been almost all hot and dry, so I haven't gotten to see how it stands up to major rain just yet.My mail fits in it rather well, and it's much easier for my mail people than what I had up before. For me, there are a couple drawbacks with the keys and lock that impact my rating. The keys are small.essentially crappy keys. The key to a master lock is better quality than these keys (and easier to use). The lock is also about as durable as one of those cheap cash boxes that people used to use a flea markets and garage sales. I think that for this kind of money the lock and keys should be about twice as good as they are currently. If they were to upgrade the keys and lock.then this would easily be 4.5 stars.
