The collar comes with batteries, several electrodes of different lengths, two collars of different sizes, a softer and longer metal piece for dogs with longer or thicker coats and a small key to attach the metal electrodes . . The instructions were simple and literally spelled out exactly how to use it. The great thing is that you can set it to just beep and vibrate if you don't want your dog to get a little shock. I tested all the settings on myself to make sure my dog wouldn't get hurt. The hit isn't bad but I feel the vibration is really good and maybe all most young dogs need. I have a Samoyed and she can bark nonstop so I started with a beep and vibration and she stopped barking after just an hour. Sometimes she barks, but only once and stops. Luckily I didn't have to use the shock part on her, but it's an option if she gets sick again. This collar is inexpensive and will help you train your pup.
