Above average head size. Based on other reviews I ordered a large and I'm glad I did! It was comfortable at first, but broke after a few rides. I love the spring loaded shaded shield. The transparent screen tends to move down in strong vibration/wind conditions. I got caught in the rain and the water pools and slides off, clear screen which is a plus! It's light and comfortable. Good extra protection compared to a half helmet and offers better vision and the wind helps cool you down with a full face on a hot summer day.
