After my old backpack broke, I realized that I needed something with insulating properties for my daily mountain bike tours. Second, I wanted something very light. FREEMOVE has satisfied both. The insulating properties are effective for 2 hours of driving and keep contents well below ambient temperature well into the 90s. Haven't used a hydration bladder yet (I used a bottle in an insulating bag) so I can't yet comment on the ease of use. I suspect this keeps the contents extra cool, especially when ice is added. Also, I can transfer the insulated bag to large backpacks for other uses. HELP. Hoping that one day someone will develop a smartphone mount on a backpack that is easily accessible while riding. From what I understand all backpacks have to be removed to access the phone. This is usually inconvenient when driving, especially when receiving messages.
