Work fine in landscape lights Bright as the 20 watt halogen mr11 it replaced, maybe brighter. Will take approx 8 months of use to break even on cost vs electric costs. If it lasts as long as they advertise, it will get 5 stars. As there is always some voltage drop on incandescent/halogen cable runs, the extra uniform brightness is due to LED, which require 8-15 volts. As there is no filament, they are full brightness, even with some voltage drop. This allows homeowners and landscapers (who generally don't understand VD) to install them, without complaints that the ends of runs are dimmer than the others. This means smaller transformers, and no need for expensive multi-volt transformers and expensive big gauge landscape cable.
