Review on Natures Miracle Premium Corn Litter by Tessa Dolan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The audio version was missing, but Kitty became ill on audio and nearly died.

We almost lost our kitten to a respiratory allergy which is very similar to asthma and his lungs have grown and will remain scarred once he recovers. He is much better but still on steroids for a full 4 months. In the meantime we have been told to remove the clumping clay bed, it contains the clumping material that is causing this condition. We're not entirely sure if this is a clay filler, but we didn't risk it and after looking at all the filler options, it has good reviews. less negative. My downside was when I was about to order 3 more bags and the price went up 3 bags or another $10 per order. So I backed out and just ordered one. This price increase happened within an hour of it being placed on my order page and I went back to order it and asked my husband if he wanted anything from Revain and OUCH Revain and/or seller let me tell you that it's not a very good marketing period. It offends your customers' customers. I'm just saying, and now I'm looking at other brands on Chewy. We live 100 miles from the nearest major city where we have a good selection and shops so we often order online. But price spikes like this are crazy and annoying and really tick the box. So the problem isn't junk, it's marketing tactics and anti-shopper programs. It tracks as mentioned by other users. I bought one of these new dual layer anti-tracking mats. One solid on the bottom and one on the top with holes to help catch debris from kitten's paws when jumping out of the litter box. It helped a lot. I have an outdoor treadmill that I've been using for years but it hasn't worked that well with this fluffy filler so I'm using both now and the combo seems to be really helpful. In the meantime I still sweep the utility room, kitchen and main hall daily. Not only to save that litter, but we're not sure if the kitten's allergy was just due to the clay litter. Our home is wood and was built by a lumber company for my granddaughter and family in the 1950's and has natural wood paneling throughout. It has a weird dust that I've never seen in a house before, very fibrous, which makes me wonder if that's some sort of peeling from the tree itself. In the meantime, it makes you think. The allergist told me NO, don't move into a wooden house or you will regret it. Oh yes, he was right, my sinus problems definitely haven't gotten any better, but who would have thought kittens could suffer from them too. But the vets insist it's clumpy clay litter. So we almost lost this kitten, he was so sick. The steroid treatment works. So, until he comes off the meds in March, we can't tell if the poop is causing an improvement or worsening. And even then, let's remember, if he gets worse again, is it the bedding, or this house? In fact, I examined the stamen under a microscope, but I couldn't tell what it really was. I even wondered if it was some kind of fungus or mold coming from the wood. (We're talking 16- and 24-foot straight walls, and wood ceilings with exposed beams. Very few walls are dry painted. Five of the six bedrooms have wood walls, two long hallways and one short also wood. One in the room has one Brick wall and three drywalls and three bathrooms are drywall some of the ceilings are also not wood so this is an issue I have wanted to experiment with clear matte paint to cover the panels for years but my husband fears it will happen could.I say it shouldn't hurt.Wash walls well even treat with an antifungal then apply clear coat with a spray or brush.I know where it developed allergies and kittens got better that was a bonus too.In meanwhile I'm looking for this brand and corn cob filler from a more reliable source for a price and no games.
