Santa Claus brought us both Just Dance 2 and Just Dance Kids. I didn't like the kids version at first as the songs sounded a bit childish for the band we were in (5, 9, 12 and 13). Then a five-year-old girl arranged to meet the girls from her dance studio. In a desperate attempt to stop three five year olds from vandalizing my house or terrorizing dogs, I pulled out Just Dance Kids. In fact, it held her attention for almost an hour. They even took turns choosing songs and, dare I say, played not badly. I think this game is all about age. Most children aged 3 to 7 will probably enjoy it. The "younger" songs are good for preschoolers and the children's versions of the "cooler" songs are good for a 5-7 year old group. The kids loved it so much I bought copies for birthday gifts later that month. Both children who received gifts were delighted. And also the parents were so tired after all these dances that they took a nap. My 12 and 9 year olds still prefer Just Dance 2 but will play that version if asked.
