Revainrating 5 out of 5

Actually works fine for cradles

Tired of suction cups that fall off when the car goes up to 140F in the summer, sticky pads are a joke for the same reason, cup holders either slide out or have to be long that the phone wobbled at 2" on a 24" gooseneck, my cd has never worked since i bought the unit so i decided to give it a try. It's really POWERFUL when fully deployed. The clamping mechanism is weak, but we have potholes. Here the tire breaks, but the CD holder holds tight. The locking tab is strong, the phone never popped out by itself. If you have side buttons on the bottom half of the phone this won't work, but the top side buttons aren't an issue. While I can't afford a decent Bluetooth-enabled car and screen, this is the best option I've found so far. This CD bay may be toast now, but I still wouldn't fix it, just put the stack in the trunk and operate from the front. the phone is off so nobody breaks my window to get this thing and I often have to park in "not so good" spots.
