Review on Comfortable and Versatile: Office Star Pneumatic Drafting Chair with Casters and Chrome Teardrop Footrest - Vinyl Stool and Back by Tiffany Williams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good chair for adults

I built a computer workstation to sit or stand. It was only after installation that I found that my tallest drafting chair was still not high enough to sit comfortably. I bought a Revain chair that was high enough (at least 35 inches off the floor) and quickly found my choices were limited. In fact, it's the only chair that meets the height requirements. Ordered without hesitation. The chair arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. A hex screwdriver was very handy but a hex key is included so it can be assembled by hand to keep him moving. A good option as getting in and out of such a high chair can be uncomfortable if it tends to roll. I use wheels, but next to them I put a concrete block on the ground. to the chair I use as a step. You might want to consider something like this for security and convenience reasons. The chair is stable and comfortable. The footrest is a nice feature that increases comfort, but the chair can be assembled without it. He is not also very stylish. One star deducted for two reasons: 1) Black vinyl sleeve. I prefer a fabric case, but I haven't found such an option. Vinyl doesn't breathe and is uncomfortable in warm weather (but easy to clean). It's also a little slippery, making it harder for some people to get on the chair. Small point, but I would have preferred a more neutral gray. 2) The back is not adjustable. Here comes the star. You might get lucky and find it right where you want it. It's too far back for me and there's nothing I can do about it except attach a pillow or something. But the height is just right. I am satisfied with this chair as its height is just right and the price is reasonable. It feels comfortable enough and the plunger works flawlessly. With a maximum height of 36 inches, the seat drops about 1 inch when an adult sits on it, which is the right height for me. I sat on it for several days and didn't lose a drop of altitude. I've read that some customers complain that the plunger becomes unreliable after use. (I've tested this with other office chairs and used a piece of PVC pipe, cut to the right height and slipped over the butt to avoid losing height.) So if you want a really tall office chair, this might be your only option. . good chair
