With one tool I can create a wave, a curl or even a straight hairstyle. The heat settings adjust up and down very quickly, and the display window makes it easy for me to know the exact temperature setting. It takes the guesswork out. The color changing indicator bar is a unique feature that I use in Ov mode when I thought it would. This function is also very useful. This helps with remotely viewing the temperature when I can't see the digital display window. This straightener is very comfortable in my hands and very easy to use. The swivel cord means I can move my arms and hands to different sections of hair without getting tangled or switching hands. The 1" black ceramic heating plates are perfect for my hair. I can style small areas quickly and easily. I also admire how they made the tip of the straightener comfortable and NOT hot, with combs to hold onto while styling. Rectifier to keep the heat the same when closed. Without a locking mechanism, it tends to lower its heat settings by a few degrees as it stays open when not in use.
