The quality of this ottoman is so good given its low price. It's incredibly comfortable, soft and plush, yet strong enough to support your knees, legs and feet. I'm a bit tired of buying such a light fabric as I have two small dogs who feel right at home on our furniture as soon as they come in from outside. But there are absolutely no marks or stains on this fabric! This is a type of plastic that doesn't stain but is incredibly attractive and soft. Matches my microfiber furniture. It is slightly more ivory than the color shown. The color shown is slightly "colder" and the actual material is warmer. The legs are made of wood and painted black, very nice, no plastic. I bought this to help my husband recover from his knee surgery and it has been very supportive and helpful. The height corresponds to the seat height of our sofa, and the length actually makes our sofa a chaise longue if you adjust it on the long side. This would make a great housewarming gift as it is likely to suit many different decor styles and comes with legs that stow in a compartment below (can be wrapped into a cube). It's strong enough for people weighing at least 230 pounds to sit on (several have it, doesn't squeak, doesn't break). This makes extra seating handy when there are more guests than sofas/chairs.
