He connects the wires. It keeps them together. It is waterproof

I used an in ground invisible fence for my sports dog. I had two connections (near the lake. I used to have to solder, shrink and then put tape on the whole thing. It was as simple as a wire nut and snapping the cap on. It looks like it should work.
