I am a manicure veteran with 10 years of experience. When I finally switched from contracting to stand rental, I had to buy state-of-the-art equipment. I used a black OPI LED in my previous salon. This amazing light has been discontinued but it has become the benchmark for the quality of my work. OPI just released a new white LED studio light from OPI which I bought for $200. The device was finicky and I ended up returning it because it overheated at the base and burned my fingertips. I made it my mission to find an LED light that resembles the black OPI LED light I've used before. THIS light is the answer! It features 48W LEDs for quick time dialing. Reduce your appointment time by 20 minutes! 3 of these LEDs are focused on the thumbs, so you avoid running and fusing. Plus, the reflective removable base is AMAZING! I have clients with arthritis, I can remove the base and hold it over my arms with no problems with the treatment. Also great for pedicures. This light is great too! It says "Hello" when it starts and "Goodbye" when it's done! My OPI light wasn't so polite! I spent a couple of weeks researching different brands, different wattages, lamp placements and a removable base was a must. This light was half the price and that's all I asked for. Stop doubting and buy it!
