I bought the C310+ because it wasn't much bigger than the C110 and according to reviews it had more features. The device came with firmware 8.0, so the first thing I did after taking it out of the box was to go to szcreator.com to get the update. I downloaded UpdateTool and Firmware 11.7 and updated the device. Attention, this takes about 20-30 minutes! I went to the car, plugged in the device and drove off. The auto detect couldn't tell what it was plugged into so I chose Mini and then R53 for my car. My airbag light came on because the battery was off for a month for repairs, so I went through the menus, found the SRS menu and read the airbag codes. He found the code immediately and I took note of it. I then cleared the airbag codes and it was quick and after the first try the airbag didn't light up again. I then checked the ECU and power steering for any codes but there were none so there was nothing else to clear. I was able to read out the data stream on many parameters which will be useful when modifying or servicing the car. Overall, this device has worked very well for me and it was a very affordable purchase. The menu is a bit clunky, so it will take you a little time to get used to it.
