This fits my 4runner perfectly. I felt so stupid I didn't know where it was plugged in, but found that they went straight into the wires connected to the amp (which aren't immediately visible) screwed into the back . Google 1999 - 2002 Toyota 4runner Radio Stereo Amplifier 86280-35080 in your browser (not Revain as they don't sell it) and you'll see what it looks like. I am telling you so many details because I was struggling with the installation because there were no instructions for our car and I was alone. Good luck but don't give up, they really do fit and the colors go together perfectly. I didn't use the whole dash kit as it fit well but the tray (my name for it) fitted perfectly.
