Reliable product: LED lights

We are the owners of the Boom Boom Room burlesque club in St Louis Mo which has closed and is remodeling a bigger and better place during the quarantine. So over time you start doing things that might not be right. For example, build the most amazing vintage-style dressing room with all the trimmings. Not that you didn't want to before, but because you just didn't have the time. I feel weird leaving this review knowing these bulbs are going to sell like hell. And I'm not getting paid or getting anything for it. As a lighting engineer, owner and now a designer, builder and everything down to the hall cleaner, I know lighting very well. Phillips makes great lamps. If you do stage lighting, you will recognize good and bad light bulbs very quickly. So I found them when I was looking for the best makeup lighting. It seems to be 5000-5500k (color temperature or just the color of the bulb). These lamps were recommended on a blog, so I decided to try them. I personally don't use makeup, so I don't know anything about it. I'm not a stage artist. When building my dressing room, I was happy to install all vintage 2700K LED bulbs. Then in the course of research it turned out that they are not suitable for make-up. In your home etc. it's really important to have the right colors in the right places. And the problem with LEDs as front lights on stage is that they make people look ugly. Shows makeup lines. powder, etc., so we use incandescent bulbs on the front and back. With incandescent bulbs, they have a wide range of colors. But "tend" to have an area with more colors. How yellow. Such a wide spectrum is more natural for the eyes. LED lamps have one colour. Imagine a graph that has a peak. These are LED bulbs. This can look very strange. And really bad for the eyes. But usually the sun enters the room to balance the incidence of light. in the house But if not, then you must take this into account. So I don't understand why these bulbs feel like they don't. For example, on stage, LEDs set to blue can make people look eerily blue, like cartoon characters. Where in a lightbulb with gel on it people can look a little blue but still human. Since the lighting for this purpose is used for makeup in a room intended for work, this is an excellent color temperature. The lamps themselves are very durable. Another problem with LED lamps. Sometimes they just can't dim very well. I connected a dimmer to the lamps and they dim very gently. Unlike incandescent bulbs in the past, when buying LEDs and planning to dim them, it's best to pick a brand or type that you like and stick with it. So they all dim the same way because they never really dim the same way. This is not the fault of the LED manufacturers. This is simply the nature of the LED lamp. So I have boxes and boxes of bulbs that I'm constantly taking out and testing and trying to see which ones work best. But we have a business. Like I said, I'm a reckless idiot. Lighting is everything in the decor. Let's get back to color temperature. This is a great color temperature that makes people look really good in makeup. I use 2700 Calvin for everything house related. When people eat something like this, I often intentionally use light bulbs because they make the food look better and people more beautiful. And people like to look beautiful, especially girls when they are in the room. But when it comes to a commercial kitchen, garage or warehouse, I need as much bright light as possible. Somewhere between 5500 and 6000 Kelvin. In total, over 50 lightbulbs in our changing room will use these dimmable Philips LED bulbs. I wasn't paid to do this, I'm a nerd and I really loved those stupid lightbulbs. Seriously, who loves lightbulbs. I think i.
