Review on Effortless Picture Hanging Kit: Wire-Back Picture Frame Hanger, Self Adhesive Hooks (White, 8 Pieces) by Jeffrey Crutcher

I read the reviews and chose this product because of the hooks, not the glue. I already have the replacement command strips but need more hooks. Unfortunately, these hooks are already glued with glue on the back. However, it was incredibly easy to remove and replace using Command Strip glue. In order for me to give a proper review (and possibly save money on the expensive Command brand) I decided to try this hook/glue as is. I cleaned my surfaces, dried thoroughly, pressed for over 30 seconds and waited several hours for the glue to set. My mirror lasted 8 hours on this hook before falling to the ground (not broken! Hooray!). I replaced the glue with Command and it has held up for over a week now. Actually, I think the catch is great. But you MUST replace the glue with Command Grade.
