I really wanted to love this camera. I think the team at Huddly IQ did a great job with this camera and it will work great in most conference rooms. But for large conference rooms that require more direct zoom control, it just won't replace an optical zoom camera. My room is a large room 20 feet deep and the camera needed to be able to crop and zoom in on the people in the room. Cropping worked great, but the zoom just couldn't produce a sharp image. I also wish you could control the auto crop to make it narrower or wider by default, but that's not possible with things like presets. The lack of preset zoom framing options was disappointing, although Smart Framing lived up to its promise and correctly identified and reframed as people entered and exited the scene. I ended up returning the camera, but if I had a standard conference room I'd happily use the Huddly IQ. This would be a great solution for a small conference room for up to 6 people seated at a table directly in front of the camera.
