If it doesn't fit, you have to justify yourself.

I am using this in a 1999 Itasca Suncruiser 37G motorhome that is showing its age. The toner was leaking so I measured and then found this one which turned out to be perfect. It's cheap, flimsy plastic, and may self-destruct before my 60th birthday, but at least it's working now with no leaks. I applied a thin, flat strip of butyl tape under and around the ledge/flange before tightening the handle which is under the sink. Leaving is not an option.
