Faulty charger matches chargers and adapters
I connected the charger to the correct Dell 3558 system model and the system gave me an error message saying the charger is using the wrong voltage. The battery, which previously charged 100%, stopped charging immediately and is now draining at a rate of 10% per month. Although batteries fail over time, the error message is not normal. While this may be due to a bad battery, the system still works well and doesn't display a charger error message.
