The camera software wasn't perfect at launch, but it's been ated 3 or 4 times in the past three weeks, each time improving some of the features significantly (the last ate made a great night mode). But the panorama mode still leaves much to be desired - many times I tried to shoot the horizon of the sea and nothing good came out. The wide-angle camera and zoom are also not ideal yet - the dynamic range is apparently lower than that of the main camera - the colors are more faded, etc. I hope this will be corrected in the future. BTW, the phone perfectly fulfills standard photos - landscape, portrait, "macro" (if you can call it that), city landscape, selfies are also normal (but this is not accurate). PS: The question of choice at the moment is becoming extremely simple: if you want an ideal phone with an ideal camera in the future, you take OnePlus. If you want the perfect camera now and immediately, and you don’t care about bangs, old percent, etc., you take Pixel 3XL.
