I used this for dosing lines in planted aquariums from the dosing pump to the water line. I wanted to run each fertilizer line independently from the metering pump to the filter line that goes back to the aquarium. So I can be sure that the fertilizer conveyed by the dosing pump gets into the water jet immediately and in good time. I used to combine all the different fertilizer lines into one main line. Thus, the fertilizers were being mixed within the line and not being dosed on the schedule programmed into the pump. I found that the dosing schedules and times were incorrect and that the fertilizer was being mixed in the main before it was added to the tank.
