I recommend taking a photo of the failed switch including the wiring and markings on the switch before disconnecting the failed switch. It also suggests that you need to pull the wires out of the failed switch and then insert the wires into the side of the switch. new switch with a small screwdriver. Lots of things to other reviewers who have provided detailed instructions on how to do this.
